President
As president, Brenda is primarily responsible for the organization and management of the operations of the IMTA. Brenda works with all areas of the organization, including marketing, communications, public relations, grassroots development, advocacy and public policy development, fundraising and financial oversight. Brenda also actively represents the industry on several committees and appointments on both the state and national level

Don Egli
Director of Safety & Security
Don manages the IMTA’s safety and security department. In that capacity, he provides valuable support to IMTA member companies on issues of safety and security. In addition, Don assists with the IMTA’s on-going training efforts, safety auditing programs and the constant changes in several regulatory areas. Don is available to answer members regulatory questions and is the association's liaison with the FMCSA, Iowa DOT and several other regulatory agencies.

Emily Larkin
Administrative Assistant
Emily joined the IMTA in June of 2016 and will serve as the association’s administrative assistant. As the face and voice of the association, Emily provides administrative support on the IMTA’s day to day activities. Emily graduated from Central College in Pella, Iowa, and also assists with many of the major IMTA events and educational activities.

DeAnn Moody
Building Manager
DeAnn serves as the executive assistant for the IMTA and assists with the daily office activities, as well as the Board of Directors meetings. DeAnn is a valuable asset as she offers her support and assistance with many of the association’s special projects. As the IMTA’s only part-time staff member, DeAnn works four days a week but generates a tremendous amount of effort and enthusiasm in everything she does.

Janelle Stevens
Director of Communications, Education & Events
In her fifth-year now with the IMTA, Janelle coordinates and oversees all the events & seminars hosted by the IMTA throughout the year. In addition, she has recently taken on the responsibility of the communications division of the IMTA. Janelle maintains the IMTA website and social media accounts, as well as creates the informational newsletters and various other promotional items that get sent.

Whitney Tapia
Marketing & Public Relations Manager
Whitney joined the IMTA in January 2016. She came from Des Moines Truck Brokers, Inc. and has been very active with the IMTA over the past few years. Whitney assists in all the IMTA marketing efforts, manages the Cornerstone Sponsorship Program and handles the production of the Lifeliner magazine. She also oversees all public relations for IMTA and our members, an area we are very excited to expand on!
